ERP Functional Consultant

What you will do

• Meet clients, at their office and online, to understand their accounting, inventory, purchase, sales and production processes
• Set up AmalERP for each client: chart of accounts, items, customers, suppliers, branches, users and tax settings
• Prepare and import opening balances and master data from Excel or the client's old software
• Configure FBR and SRB sales tax settings and digital invoicing where the client needs them
• Train client users and write short step-by-step guides for them
• Answer client support questions and pass product issues to the development team with clear details
• Test new features before release and bring client feedback back to the product team

What we are looking for

• 1–3 years of experience implementing or supporting ERP or accounting software (any system, for example Odoo, SAP Business One, QuickBooks, Tally, Peachtree or a local ERP)
• Good understanding of double-entry accounting, inventory and the purchase and sales cycle
• A degree in commerce, accounting, business or IT is preferred
• Comfortable with Excel, including preparing data for import
• Clear communication in Urdu and English, with clients and in writing
• Able to visit client offices within Karachi
• Knowledge of FBR and SRB sales tax and digital invoicing is a plus
• This position is open to male candidates
