Built for Saudi compliance

VAT today. Zakat-ready records. ZATCA, stated honestly.

Saudi businesses don't buy software twice. AmalERP covers today's VAT and bookkeeping requirements, and tells you exactly where it stands on ZATCA e-invoicing.

Bilingual VAT invoicing with the ZATCA QR

Issue Arabic/English tax invoices and simplified tax invoices with your 15-digit VAT number and the ZATCA Phase 1 QR code, code every transaction (standard, zero-rated, exempt, out of scope) and pull VAT-ready sales and purchase reports straight from your ledger.

Zakat and income-tax-ready accounting

Real double-entry books with an auto-created chart of accounts, a full audit trail, financial-year locking and financial statements — the clean records Zakat and corporate income tax filings are built on.

ZATCA e-invoicing, stated honestly

AmalERP issues ZATCA-compliant bilingual invoices with the Phase 1 QR code, and integrates with the Fatoora platform for Phase 2 clearance and reporting. Every /sa page says exactly what is available and what we do not claim, so you can plan your wave deadline with facts.

WhatsApp invoicing & AI built in

Send branded PDF invoices, receipts and statements on WhatsApp in one tap, and let the AI assistant import documents, reconcile banks and answer questions about your live data.

ZATCA e-invoicing (Fatoora)

Every VAT-registered business in the Kingdom must e-invoice

Phase 1 (Generation) has applied to all VAT-registered businesses since 4 December 2021: invoices must be created and stored electronically, with a QR code on simplified invoices. Phase 2 (Integration) has rolled out in waves since 1 January 2023, and now reaches down to the smallest VAT-registered businesses: your system must connect to the Fatoora platform, sign every invoice, get B2B invoices cleared in real time and report B2C invoices within 24 hours.

AmalERP's position

AmalERP issues ZATCA-compliant bilingual invoices with the Phase 1 QR code, and integrates with the Fatoora platform for Phase 2 clearance and reporting. Ask us about your wave on WhatsApp and we will answer straight.

FAQ

AmalERP in Saudi Arabia — questions

Is AmalERP ZATCA compliant?

Yes. AmalERP issues bilingual Arabic/English tax and simplified invoices with the Phase 1 QR code, and integrates with ZATCA's Fatoora platform for Phase 2 — standard invoices are cleared in real time and simplified invoices are reported within 24 hours, from a unit onboarded with a Production CSID. We are not listed in ZATCA's solution-provider directory and do not call ourselves 'ZATCA-approved', because ZATCA says listing is not an approval; what matters is your onboarding, which we walk you through.

Is AmalERP VAT compliant in Saudi Arabia?

AmalERP issues bilingual Arabic/English tax invoices and simplified tax invoices with your 15-digit VAT registration number, 15% VAT and the ZATCA Phase 1 QR code, supports standard-rated, zero-rated, exempt and out-of-scope coding on transactions, and produces VAT-ready sales and purchase reports from your double-entry ledger — so your VAT return figures come straight from your books.

How much does AmalERP cost in Saudi Arabia?

Two simple plans, billed per year in riyals: ZATCA Phase 1 at SAR 599/year (bilingual invoices, Phase 1 QR, 15% VAT, locked numbering, credit/debit notes) and ZATCA Phase 2 at SAR 1,499/year (adds Fatoora integration — clearance, reporting, CSID onboarding). POS, inventory, manufacturing, WhatsApp and AI are quoted on request. There's a 7-day free trial with no credit card.

Who is AmalERP for in Saudi Arabia?

Trading and wholesale companies, importers, retail shops and counters, small manufacturers, contractors and service businesses across Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and the wider Kingdom — especially businesses run by Pakistani, Indian and other expatriate owners who want support in their own language, and businesses that have outgrown Excel or basic accounting apps but don't want a SAR 50,000+ ERP implementation project.

Does AmalERP support Arabic?

Invoices, yes: tax invoices and simplified tax invoices print bilingually in Arabic and English, which is what ZATCA requires. The working interface is in English, which is what most Saudi SME accounting and trading teams — many of them run by Pakistani, Indian and other expatriate owners — work in.

Do I need to install anything, and is there local support?

No installation — AmalERP is a cloud system (with an offline-capable POS) that runs in the browser on any device. Onboarding is done remotely and support runs on WhatsApp during Saudi business hours, in English, Urdu and Hindi. We do not have a physical office in Saudi Arabia.

How long does it take to go live with AmalERP in Saudi Arabia?

Most businesses are issuing live invoices within a few days. Onboarding is remote: we set up your chart of accounts, VAT codes, customers, vendors, items and opening balances with you over video call, then you run a parallel week if you want the comfort of a cross-check. There is no on-site implementation phase and no implementation fee.

Can AmalERP handle multi-branch businesses and multiple warehouses?

Yes. Stock is tracked per location with transfers between branches, users can be scoped to a branch, and reports run per branch or consolidated. Both ZATCA plans include 1 branch and 2 users; extra branches and users are quoted on request. Under ZATCA Phase 2 each till or branch invoicing system is a separate unit that must be onboarded with its own certificate — tell us how many you run and we will confirm the setup and the price in writing.

Does AmalERP work offline if the internet goes down?

The POS module has a true offline mode: billing continues during an internet or power outage and syncs automatically when you reconnect, posting to inventory and accounts as it does. Note that under ZATCA Phase 2, simplified invoices issued offline still have to be reported to the Fatoora platform within 24 hours — which is exactly the kind of queue an offline-capable system is built to flush on reconnect.

Where is my data stored, and can I export it?

AmalERP runs on Google Cloud and Firebase infrastructure outside Saudi Arabia. Your data is yours: every report and ledger can be exported to PDF and Excel at any time. If your business has a specific data-residency obligation under Saudi law or a government contract, check it before signing up — we would rather you ask than assume.

Can I import my existing data from Excel, Tally, Qoyod or another system?

Yes. Customers, vendors, items and opening balances are imported from Excel or CSV as part of onboarding, and we help map your existing chart of accounts across. Businesses moving off desktop packages or spreadsheets are one of the most common onboarding paths we handle.

What is the difference between ZATCA Phase 1 and Phase 2?

Phase 1 (Generation, since 4 December 2021) requires every VAT-registered business to create and store invoices electronically with the mandatory fields and a QR code on simplified invoices. Phase 2 (Integration, rolling out in waves since 1 January 2023) requires the invoicing system to connect to ZATCA's Fatoora platform, sign each invoice cryptographically in XML, get standard invoices cleared in real time and report simplified invoices within 24 hours. Our Phase 1 and Phase 2 guides cover both in detail.
