Built for how Dubai does business
Trading, retail and production — in one ledger
Dubai's SME economy runs on imports, credit and thin margins. AmalERP is shaped around that, not retrofitted from a Western accounting app.
Importers & general trading LLCs
Import purchases with customs duty, freight and clearing distributed as landed cost, so you know the true cost of a consignment before you quote a price on it.
Traders & wholesalers
Credit limits, receivables ageing and per-line profit on every sale — the essentials when most of the business moves on credit and margins are thin.
Retail & multi-branch shops
Touch POS with barcode scanning and true offline billing, stock visible across branches, and simplified tax invoices at the counter with full ones for B2B buyers.
Small manufacturers & workshops
Bill of Materials, production orders, material issue and job-work with WIP — costed through to the finished item, not estimated at the end of the month.
Why UAE businesses pick AmalERP over a traditional ERP
The usual complaint about ERP in Dubai isn't the software — it's the quote that grows, the implementation that slips, and the change request that costs more than the licence.
- Fixed AED prices published on the website — no “request a quote” cycle
- Remote onboarding in days instead of a paid multi-month implementation
- Modules you switch on as you grow — you don't pay for manufacturing to get accounting
- One system for books, stock, counter and factory — no connectors to maintain
- WhatsApp support in English, Urdu and Hindi on UAE hours
- VAT-ready today, with PINT AE e-invoicing on the roadmap before July 2027

FAQ
ERP in Dubai — questions
What is the best ERP software for a small business in Dubai?
For most Dubai SMEs the right ERP is the one that covers accounting, VAT invoicing, inventory and POS in a single cloud system without a large implementation project. AmalERP does exactly that from AED 99/month with remote onboarding, which is why it suits trading companies, importers, retailers and small manufacturers that have outgrown Excel but do not want an AED 30,000+ ERP rollout.
How much does ERP software cost in Dubai?
In the UAE, ERP licences typically run AED 100–300 per user per month for mid-range systems, and implementation is charged separately — commonly AED 12,000 to AED 30,000 for a small business, and far more for enterprise platforms. AmalERP starts at AED 99/month for the business with two users included, with modules added individually and onboarding handled remotely rather than billed as a project.
Is AmalERP suitable for a general trading LLC in Dubai?
Yes — trading is the core use case. AmalERP handles the full purchase and sales cycle, import purchases with landed cost (duty, freight and clearing), multi-location stock, credit limits and ageing, and VAT-compliant tax invoices with TRN. Similar businesses already run on it elsewhere in the Gulf, including Royal Engineering International in Kuwait and Grand Arab Star Technical Supplies in Bahrain.
Do you have an office in Dubai?
No — AmalERP is built and supported by Switcher Techno, operating since 2010, and UAE customers are onboarded and supported remotely over video call and WhatsApp during UAE business hours. Being a cloud system with offline-capable POS means there is nothing to install on site, and there is no travel fee built into your price.
Can AmalERP handle multiple branches and warehouses?
Yes. Stock is tracked per location, transfers between branches are recorded, and reporting can be viewed per branch or consolidated. Extra branches are AED 79/month each beyond the one included, so a multi-branch retailer or a trader with a separate warehouse stays well inside a small monthly budget.
Will AmalERP be ready for UAE e-invoicing in 2027?
The UAE mandate reaches businesses with revenue of AED 50M+ on 1 January 2027 and all remaining businesses, including SMEs, on 1 July 2027, using the Peppol-based PINT AE format through Accredited Service Providers. ASP integration is on AmalERP's roadmap ahead of the SME deadline — see our e-invoicing guide for the current phases and what they require.
How does AmalERP handle landed cost on imports?
On an import purchase you enter customs duty, freight, insurance and clearing charges alongside the goods, and AmalERP distributes them across the items on the consignment — by value or quantity — so each item's cost reflects what it actually cost to land in your warehouse. Your margin on the next sale is then real rather than an estimate, which matters when import charges can be a double-digit share of cost.
Is AmalERP an alternative to Odoo or Tally for a UAE business?
They solve overlapping problems differently. Odoo is highly capable but is usually bought through a partner, where implementation and change requests are the dominant cost. Tally is fast and familiar but desktop-first, with limited cloud and mobile access. AmalERP sits between them: full ERP breadth, cloud and mobile from day one, published fixed AED pricing, and remote onboarding rather than a paid implementation project.
Can AmalERP handle a business that both manufactures and trades?
Yes — this is common in Sharjah and the industrial areas, where a company both imports finished goods and produces its own. The manufacturing module handles Bill of Materials, production orders and job work with WIP, while the trading side runs the normal purchase and sales cycle. Both post to the same ledger and stock, so you see combined and separate profitability without a second system.
What happens to my data if I stop using AmalERP?
You can export ledgers, reports, invoices and master data to PDF and Excel at any time while your account is active, so you leave with your records. We would rather earn the renewal than hold your data hostage — and being able to say that plainly is part of why UAE buyers trust a remote vendor.
Do you work with businesses in Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi too?
Yes. AmalERP is cloud software with remote onboarding, so the emirate your trade licence sits in does not change how you buy, deploy or use it. Trading and manufacturing businesses across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates run the same system, and VAT and corporate tax are federal in any case.
Can I try AmalERP with my own data before committing?
Yes — the 7-day free trial needs no credit card, and during onboarding we can load a sample of your real customers, items and opening balances so you are evaluating your own business rather than a demo company. If it does not fit, you have lost a week and nothing else.
