Gota Plastic Industry is a plastics manufacturer running a complete factory operation: raw material arrives in bulk, moves through production runs, and leaves as finished plastic goods. Between those two points sit purchasing, stores, production planning, costing, sales and a factory payroll — the full weight of a real manufacturing business.

The problem factories usually live with

In most factories this picture is scattered: a stores register at the gate, a production notebook on the floor, an accounting package in the office and salary sheets in Excel. Nobody re-enters everything in time, so the owner's month-end view is assembled by hand — and actual production cost is a best guess rather than a number the books can defend.

How AmalERP runs the factory

Purchasing runs from purchase order to goods receipt (GRN), and import purchases distribute duty, freight and clearing charges as landed cost — so raw material enters stock at its true cost, not just the supplier's invoice price.

Every product carries a Bill of Materials. Production orders consume raw material against the BOM and post work-in-progress, so a production run is a recorded, costed event — not a note on paper. Job-work production is handled the same way.

Inventory is multi-location with weighted-average costing: raw material, work-in-progress and finished goods are visible live, without waiting for a day-end count.

The sales chain runs from quotation to sale order to delivery challan to invoice, fully linked, with per-line profit on every sale. Payroll — salaries, advances, loans and final settlements — lives in the same books.

Underneath it all, every transaction auto-posts a balanced double-entry ledger entry, so the factory floor and the financial statements are the same system.
